One day as I travelling to my office, I was having my usual conversation with God. This time I was complaining to God about something that I was much anxious about. It was getting harder and more difficult to share it with anyone else. Neither did I feel that sharing would help. At this point of deep conflict and conversation that I was having in the bus, I heard the sweet voice of the Holy Spirit within me simply say, “Tiny, just leave it to me.” I stopped sobbing immediately and I felt the love of God flood my soul. My heart grew stronger and much courage came into me. I responded to the Holy Spirit by surrendering my situation to Him leading to much peace in my heart.
Now this reminded me of the incident with Jesus before He was crucified. The very thought of crucifixion brought such agony to the extent of His tears dropping as blood. He even prays to the Father that if possible, the cup might pass from him. But at the same time Jesus was ready to submit to the will of the Father. He shows us perfect readiness to bear the load of the sufferings that the Father allowed. What Jesus did was that He saw what was ahead. This resulted in Him being glorified to the right hand of the Father.
How often do we give up and let our minds be depressed with the burden of this world. When what God wants from us to see what is ahead. Even when the problems are high, our life can be changed if our perspective can change about our situation. Therefore it is important to see things how God sees it than how the situation feels like. By holding on to those issues and crying about it will not help us any further. We must learn to see the end result than our present situation. It is hard for the God who takes care of the lilies of the field and the sparrows of the air, to take care of us? Absolutely not!
There might be situations that is not fair to our eyes. But you must remember that God may not be fair but He is a just God. As long as we continue to love Him and live in His purpose then all things will turn together for our good and His glory. (Rom8: 28)
Some of us may not have got our hike at work, or may be your marriage is on the rocks. But whatever your challenge is the Lord wants to tell you that if you can just surrender to His will, God will sure change the situation for His glory and our amazement.
Dear Friend, you are so precious to Jesus. Allow God to have total control of your life and that process begins by total surrender. God wants you to know that nothing is too hard for the Lord. Whether it is any sin that holds on to your or you are holding on to, no matter what the struggle is, if you call upon the Lord, the Bible says that He will come and save you. It begins by surrender. Why not begin now?
I pray that you will respond to this call of GOD immediately and surrender. Leave it to God!
