You are God’s Signet Ring: A Prophetic Word

The Word of the Lord came to Haggai to tell Zerubbabel, the governor of Judah,  saying,

“Tell Zerubbabel governor of Judah that I am about to shake the heavens and the earth: I will overturn royal thrones and destroy the power of the kingdoms of the nations. I will overturn chariots and their riders; horses and their riders will fall, each by the sword of his brother.

On that day, declares the LORD of Hosts, I will take you, My servant, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, declares the LORD, and I will make you like My signet ring, for I have chosen you, declares the LORD of Hosts.

(Haggai 2:21- 23, emphasis mine)

This is a prophetic Word over you: God is saying, I have made you like My signet ring, for I have chosen you.

Many years ago, I went through a painful season in my life and I remember asking the Lord, “Why did this happen?” And I was so angry with the devil because I knew it was he who had come to steal, kill and destroy. At that moment the Lord spoke to me saying, “I am making you my signet ring.” 

And, I hear God saying the same words for you!

In the Bible, a signet ring signifies authority, ownership and covenant. It was a physical representation of royal power, used to authenticate documents and mark ownership. It was a common practice for kings to use a signet ring as a seal to signify their authority and make their decrees final and unchangeable.

As God’s signet ring, You have been given a place of honour and authority.

No matter what season you are in right now, God is saying I am giving you authority over the attacks of the enemy. You have grace to overcome every demon that has troubled you in the past and every form of rejection that you have experienced as a child. Those rejections are no more going to define you because God says I have made you my signet ring, for I have chosen you.

He who has ears, let him hear, God is saying 2025,  I am going to restore and rebuild things in your life – whether it is your health or it concerns your children, family members, your job or career. I will restore the years that the locusts have eaten. The glory that you have experienced so far is nothing compared to what I have in store for you.

Only thing you are required to do is to be faithful in my Word and not allow the enemy to steal your worship. Let His praises be on your lips and let every anger, bitterness and un-forgiveness melt away.  Now is the time for you to rise up and be the man or woman that God has called you to be.

Be strong and of good courage. Do not fear the enemies that you see. Do not fear the mountain that stands before you O Zerubbabel, for it shall become a plain – not by might, not by power but through my spirit, says the Lord of hosts.
