Embracing Your Destiny

no turning back
It was a sweet friend’s call asking me if I missed my college life. She was missing those good old days. I realized how I used to be in her shoes. In the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit, everything had changed. I understood that those feelings were not reality. It is one thing to cherish a season but to miss it to sorrow may be a way enemy causes to sow dissatisfaction in our spirits of our present life. Yes, those were good old days, but hey, this is where God has planted and placed me now. And God is in control of our lives and He certainly does not make mistakes. Therefore by not being content is not to be happy with what God has given us. You may not be in the best of place in life but you are where God wants you to be today. Each time you fail to embrace your destiny, chances are those regrets can turn even into depression taking away your walk with God. It may be your x-friend, relationships that moved on, a country you lived in or a job you miss. Yes, thank God for them – but remember to move on and heartily embrace your destiny! That’s a matured and healthy living in Christ! I pray that as you allow the Holy Spirit to let go off your past, you will embrace your God given life with joy and peace in Jesus name. Amen!
